Last 5 days of Halloween Rolled into ONE post! PIC HEAVY!

Hey polish people!

I finally got my camera and computer to work together and I guess this post is better late than never! So without further ado.. here is the last five days of my Halloween series rolled into one post!! I'll let the pictures do the talking and keep my descriptions to a minimum.

DAY FIVE

OPI Flit a Bit & CG Stone Cold. Flit A Bit is the perfect pumpkin orange and stone cold is the best charcoal grey matte ever!

DAY FOUR

WnW Fantasy Makers Rest In Pieces. Fuchsia microglitter in a black jelly base. Looks way better than this picture in real life.

DAY THREE

CG Riveting and CG Stone Cold in a half-moon halloween mani. I love the gold glassflecks in Riveting and CG stone cold is so opaque that it was easy and ended up looking quite cool!

& Here it is with topcoat.

DAY TWO

OPI Alpine Snow and OPI Big Apple Red in a drippy-icky blood manicure.

Then I turned the blood into HOLO blood with Jade Vermelho Surreal! I think this is pretty cool.

DAY ONE

& Here is my last Halloween mani. This one might have been my favourite :)

Zombie-esque gradient nails using:
OPI Gargantuan Green Grape Matte
a-England Dragon
Dollish Polish Zombie Flesh

I think they turned out pretty good! But then I sponged on some red blood to add some EXTRA gross-ness. Cool, right?!

& There you have it. This is my 10 Days of Halloween series completed! Sorry that the last half was late but I am glad I finally got to post them. I hope you all had a safe & happy Halloween!

10 Days of Halloween, Day 4: Black Spider Egg Nails!

Happy Thursday polish people!

Hope you are all having a great day :) I am doing well today. My sister is home from school for a break and it is so, so, so nice to see her. I haven't seen her in about six months! We went to a party together and have been hanging out :)

Anyway, here is my mani for Day 4 of my 10 Days of Halloween Series! .. This is the "fish egg" manicure but today I am calling it the SPIDER egg manicure to make it more spooky for halloween! Super simple! Just painted my nails with WnW Black Creme than dunked them into some micro beads that I picked up at Michaels after applying a thicker coat of topcoat! This mani didn't last too long on me, about 1/2 a day before the beads were coming loose and I *needed* to pick them off :P

However, I DO think it looks creepy though. Funny how the time of year can change your perspective. I would have thought this was "chic" back in July but in October its definitely spooky!!! What do you think?

10 Days of Halloween Series! Day 1: WnW Once Upon A Time!

Hi everyone!

I'm going to start a series!!! 10 days of Halloween themed polishes and nail art! Halloween is probably my second favourite holiday! I adore dressing up (usually as a superhero) and giving candy to kids and watching B list horror movies from the 80s (guilty pleasure).

So to start it off the series is WnW Fantasy Makers Once Upon A Time. Black jelly base with micro and medium size red hex glitters. Its pretty awesome for a pretty awesome price. This is two coats over one coat of black. But you can see in the pictures it dries pretty gritty and bumpy. A couple coats of top coat is a must. But for the price, with the cute bottles, and the good formula.. its totally worth it!

Hope you like it!

Wet n' Wild Stars and Stripes Swatch :)

Hi Everyone! I just want to say sorry if I am very distracted, rambling, and full of poor grammar lately and in the near future. I am working from 3:30AM to 9PM with a couple of short breaks for a whole month... so my brain is not at it's best. I am seriously lacking sleep and seriously overdosing on caffeine.

AAnnnyywhooooo. Happy 4th of July to all of my American friend and readers! :)
I feel stupid that I had no Canada Day manicure (just a red polish) but I have a Fourth of July mani Hahaha. This is Wet n' Wild Fast Dry Stars and Stripes. I found it on a display at Lawtons Pharmacy for 1.99 with a bunch of "party" glitters in different colour combos that were reminiscent of "Party of Five Glitters". I only picked up this one though because for me it stood out next to the others.

Stars and Stripes is a clear base with holo string glitter, bar glitter, a small amount of microglitter, and star glitter. I have some other glitters with stars, and I also have some loose star glitter that sometimes I like to add to manicures.. but what I loved about this polish is the application. So easy to get stars on the brush. No digging. It was a nice little break from shaking. Lots of stars got on the nails super easily, with lots left in the bottle! It was also easy to get the stars to go exactly where they should.

Here is just one coat over China Glaze First Mate. The stars actually did not stick out and curl as much as I thought they would. There was some edges that stuck out a LITTLE bit but I did two coats of SV just to be safe and it was all smooth.

I think it was a great purchase and for 1.99 it is also a great deal! :] They should have one with maple leaves for Canada!!
